This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice. The Public Works Division, aboard Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune, North Carolina has a requirement to procure a Valve Maintenance Trailer and a one (1) day Field Training Program. This is a brand name only requirement for an E.H. Wachs Standard LX (Gas) Valve Maintenance Trailer and should be capable of operating with the following accessories: E.H. Wachs Guillotine Saw, E.H. Wachs Hydraulic Trash Pump, and a E.H. Wachs Handheld Valve Exerciser. It is the Government's intention to issue a single firm-fixed price contract. The proposed acquisition is for full and open competition. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 333914 Measuring, Dispensing and Other Pumping Equipment Manufacturing. The size standard for this requirement is 750 employees. The Government will solicit and award this contract using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) and FAR Part 13. This notice is not a request for quotes or proposals. The solicitation will be posted on or about two (2) days after this posting and made available on the Contract Opportunities portal located at https://www.sam.gov/. It is the responsibility of the offeror to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database https://www.sam.gov/. Contactors must also ensure annual representations and certifications are current or complete them on the SAM website. All prospective offerors interested in submitting an offer must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE code). Contractors must be registered with Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) at http://piee.eb.mil.
