PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Contracting Department, Marine Corps Installations East (MCIEAST), have a requirement to procure metal wall lockers (wardrobes), to be delivered, for Supply Management Division (SMD) located at Camp Lejeune, NC. It is the Government’s intent to issue a firm fixed price contract. The proposed acquisition will be Unrestricted. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 337126. The NAICS Industry Description is Household Furniture (except Wood and Upholstered) Manufacturing. The Government will solicit and award this contract in accordance with FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) and FAR Part 13.5 (Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items). This pre-solicitation notice is not a request for quotes. The solicitation (M6700124Q1073) will be posted on or about 15 days after this posting and made available on the Contracting Opportunities portal located at www.sam.gov. It is the responsibility of the offeror to monitor the website for the solicitation and any associated amendments. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov, is required for entities to do business with and receive funds from the federal Government. Businesses will be assigned a Commercial and Government Entities (CAGE) Code and a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number via the SAM website. Contractors must also be registered with Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) at www.piee.eb.mil.
