Amendment 0001 Question 1: Can the delivery site handle a tractor trailer delivery or will it require a tandem load? Government Response 1: The site can handle a tractor trailer, but however a tandem load is preferred. Question 2: Will the delivery team require CAC/military ID cards to access the delivery site? Government Response 2: The contractor will be required to get a pass at “Pass and ID” at the welcome center at MCAS Cherry Point. See page 3 of the RFQ, Delivery Instructions. MCI-East Cherry Point Satellite Contracting Office aboard MCAS Cherry Point, NC has a requirement for “Limestone ABC Rock”. It is the Government's intention to issue a firm-fixed price requirements type contract. The proposed acquisition is 100% set aside for Hubzone Small Business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 327999. The Government will solicit and award this contract using simplified acquisition procedures. The solicitation, (No. M6700124Q1026) will be posted and made available on SAM.gov. It is the responsibility of the quoter to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered with the SAM website accessed through https://sam.gov. Contractor must also ensure annual representations and certifications are current or complete them at the SAM website as well. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a quote must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE code). Contractors must be registered with Wide Area Workflow at https://piee.eb.mil in order to invoice the Government and accept payment. All questions relating to this requirement must be addressed to the Contracting Department, Purchasing Agent via email to ann.sanford@usmc.mil by 1:00 P.M. (EDT) 30 January 2024, which will be answered by the posting of an amendment. Any questions received after the stated deadline will not be addressed. All responsible small business sources may submit a quotation and will be considered.
