This is a Sources Sought Notice for commercial services in accordance with this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice for sources sought. Request for company background and capabilities brief are being sought and requested for this notice. An official solicitation notice is NOT applicable at this time. The proposed acquisition NAICS is 811310 with a size standard of $12.5M. Any quotes provided will not be accepted, or considered, in response to this sources sources sought. This document is for information and planning purposes and to allow industry the opportunity to verify reasonableness and feasibility of the requirement for consideration in the overall acquisition strategy, as well as to promote competition. Historically this type of requirement has been procured Unrestricted. Marine Corps Installation-East (MCI-East) Satellite Contracting Department is seeking information from all business types to reassess the market and its capability. This information will also help in determining the appropriate level of competition and/or SB subcontracting goals for this requirement. BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Fleet Readiness Center East (FRCE) Cherry Point, North Carolina has a requirement for The primary purpose of the upgrade is enabling full test capability of regulating valve, Secondary Bleed Air Regulator (SBAR), P/N 2770073-114. Test Stand Channel 3 is used for testing pneumatic valves at high temperatures and/or pressures. The test stand consists of a Windows 7/LabVIEW/Allen-Bradley CompactLogix-L33ER-based test console for monitoring and controlling air pressure/temperature; an orifice meter to measure airflow; and a valve unit under test (UUT) interface system to allow testing of arbitrary pneumatic valve types. Maximum operating temperature and pressure of the test stand are 1150°F and 700 psig respectively. Typical air flow rates range from 20-200 lbs per minute Contract award will be made to a single offeror.
