Amendment 0001: The purpose of this amendment is to (1) reopen the solicitation with a new quotes due by date to 13 July 2023; (2) administratively correct the Government Provided Parts to remove Part 34, as the Purchase Description states that it is the Contractors responsibility to provide; and (3) to remove the Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Set-Aside, so the requirement can be issued as a Total 100% Small Business Set-Aside . The MCI East Cherry Point Satellite Contracting Office, aboard Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, NC 28533, has a requirement for the modification of 12 Des-Case Vacuum Dehydrators in accordance with the attached solicitation. The proposed contract action is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 333998. Contractors interested in doing business with the government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) website, accessed through https://sam.gov. Contractors must also ensure annual representations and certifications are current in SAM. Contractors must also be registered in the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) invoicing system at https://piee.eb.mil in order to invoice the Government and accept payment. The complete Request for Quotation, including a detailed Performance Work Statement is attached. All responsible small business sources may submit a quote which will be considered. All questions relating to this requirement must be addressed to the Contracting Department, Contract Specialist via email to jeffrey.penny@usmc.mil by 4:00 P.M. (EST) 23 June 2023, which will be answered by the posting of an amendment. Any questions received after the stated deadline will not be addressed.
