THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE Marine Corps Installation East (MCIEAST), aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC has a requirement for software support services that requires continous vendor support to ensure identified operational problems and security vulnerabilities are rapidly mitigated by vendor provided patches. It is the Government’s intention to issue a firm fixed price contract. The proposed acquisition will be 100% set-aside for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 513210 Software Publishers with a corresponding business size standard of $47 million. The Government will solicit and award this contract using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) and 13 (Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items). This pre-solicitation is not a request for quotes. The solicitation, M67001-23-Q-1056, will be posted on or about fifteen (15) days after this posting and made available on the Contracting Opportunities Portal located at www.sam.gov. It is the responsibility of the offeror to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov. Contractors must also ensure annual representations and certifications are current or complete them at the SAM website www.sam.gov. All prospective offerors interested in submitting an offer must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE code) and be registered with the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) at www.piee.eb.mil.
