SYNOPSIS FOR BEQ FURNITURE REPLENISHMENT WC130 AND WC135 2nd Battalion 8th Marine Regiment aboard Camp Lejeune North Carolina has a requirement for the purchase of Bachelor Enlisted Quarters (BEQ) furniture and appliances. The items will replace like items that have reached their useful life span and add to the existing common area lounge. This purchase will include installation of the new furniture and appliances as well as the removal, palletization and disposal of the old furniture and appliances. The BEQ is occupied and will need to be considered in the installation timeline. It is the Government’s intention to issue a firm fixed price contract in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 337126, Household furniture (except wood and upholstered) manufacturing. The Government will solicit and award this contract using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 13. This synopsis is not a request for quotes or proposals.
