2d Marine Expeditionary Forces Communication Strategy and Operations, aboard Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune, North Carolina has a requirement for hard wired cable television and high speed wireless internet services. It is the Government’s intention to issue a firm fixed price contract. The proposed acquisition will be unrestricted. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 517311 Wired Telecommunications Carriers. The Government will solicit and award this contract using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR parts 12 “Acquisition of Commercial Items” and 13 “Simplified Acquisition Procedures.” This synopsis is not a request for quotes or proposals. The solicitation M6700122Q1034 will be posted on or about 15 days after this posting and made available on the Contract Opportunities portal at www.sam.gov. It is the responsibility of the offeror to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov. Contractors must also ensure annual representations and certifications are current or complete them at the SAM website www.sam.gov. All prospective offers interested in submitting an offer must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE code). Contractors must be registered with Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) at www.wawf.eb.mil.
