School of Infantry East, Camp Devil Dog, has a requirement for installation of 4 new government-owned UniMac washers and 8 new government-owned LP gas UniMac dryers, quarterly preventative maintenance of the new washers and dryers, repairs as needed, annual cleaning of vents, and training to be provided to designated government personnel on how to operate the new UniMac washers and dryers. It is the Government’s intention to issue a firm fixed price contract. The proposed acquisition will be set-aside 100% Small Business. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 811412 – Appliance Repair & Maintenance and the small business size standard is $16.5 million. The Government will solicit and award this contract using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR subpart 13.5. Scope of Requirement: Preventive maintenance, repair and installation of Government-owned washers and dryers; approximately four (4) washer-extractors (Alliance Laundry Systems, LLC - UniMac model UWT105D40) and eight (8) LP gas drying tumblers (Alliance Laundry Systems, LLC - UniMac model UT120LDN) located at Camp Devil Dog, Verona Training Area. The solicitation will contain the complete Performance Work Statement (PWS). This synopsis is not a request for quotes or proposals. The solicitation No. M6700122Q0016 will be posted on or about five (5) days after this posting and made available on the Contract Opportunities portal located at www.sam.gov. It is the responsibility of the offeror to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors must also ensure annual representations and certifications are current or complete them at the SAM website www.sam.gov.
