THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY. This is NOT a request for quotation and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract/purchase order. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to seek out interested businesses capable of fulfilling this current service requirement. Marine Corps Installations East (MCIEAST) Marine Corp Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune Contracting Department is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to determine the general availability of maintenance support services for washing machines and dryers to be located at Verona Training Area, Verona, NC and Camp Geiger, Jacksonville, NC. The applicable NAICS is 811412 Appliance Repair and Maintenance, and the size standard is $16.5 million average annual receipts. Set-aside status has not been determined at this time. In addition, interested vendors shall provide the following: (1) Is your business a large or small business under this NAICS code? (2) If the size standard is small, indicate if your firm is certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act, HubZone certified, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Woman Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Busienss or Small Business. (3) Are the services available under a GSA/FSS contract? If so, please provide contract number. (4) These services been acquired by any government agencies? If so, please provide names of agencies, POCs and contract numbers. (5) Cage Code and DUNS Number. Cage Code and DUNS number must be registered on Systems for Award Management (https://www.sam.gov) Responses to this sources sought notice shall be e-mailed to: stephen.wozniak@usmc.mil. TELEPHONE RESPONSES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Responses must be received no later than 22 January 2021 at 11:00 AM EST. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. Overview: The vendor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment and labor necessary to maintain and repair as required of government owned UniMac washer- extractors and UniMac gas drying tumblers at buildings located at Verona Training Area, Verona, NC and Camp Geiger, Jacksonville, NC. Requirements: Preventive maintenance and repair of Government-owned washers and dryers; approximately four (4) washer-extractors (Alliance Laundry Systems, LLC - UniMac model UWT105D40) and eight (8) LP gas drying tumblers (Alliance Laundry Systems, LLC - UniMac model UT120LDN) located at Verona Training Area, and one (1) washer-extractor (Alliance Laundry Systems, LLC - UniMac model UWN150T3VQU3001) and one (1) natural gas drying tumbler (Alliance Laundry Systems, LLC - UniMac model UT170NRQF6G2W01) located at Camp Geiger. NOTE: This Request for Information is for planning purposes only and is issued in accordance with FAR Clause 52.215-3. No solicitation document exists at this time. Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure these items or to issue a solicitation. In addition, the Government is under no obligation to pay for information submitted in response to this RFI, and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers.
