This is NOT a request for quotation and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract/purchase order. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to seek out interested businesses capable of fulfilling a current service requirement that consists of the refurbishment of 14 Carousels, 7 Lift tables and 7 Carousel Interface Controllers (CIC) located aboard MCB Camp Lejeune. The items or services being requested for this requirement is exclusively licensed to ScottTech, LLC. SCOPE The requirement consists of, but not limited to, supplying and installing new controls and drive components on existing carousels. Supplying and installing new lift table units, building and installing seven (7) new carousel control cabinets to replace the existing obsolete controls and upgrade the controls to ensure full compatibility with PickPro warehouse control system software. Additionally the upgrade shall include replacement of key components such as Control cabinet enclosure, Motors and Gearboxes replaced with same or equivalent components, Photo eyes for product protection, Existing-positioning system shall be replaced with an optical system for precise bin positioning. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE The places of performance will be aboard Marine Corp Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. No set aside has been determined at this time. In addition, interested vendors shall provide the following information: (1) Interested vendors shall provide documentation confirming the company is an authorized vendor of ScottTech LLC. (2) Is your business a large or small business under this NAICS code? (3) If the size standard is small, indicate if your firm is certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act, HubZone certified, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Woman Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business or Small Business. (4) Are the services available under a GSA/FSS contract? If so, please provide contract number. (5) These services been acquired by any government agencies? If so, please provide names of agencies, POCs and contract numbers. (6) Cage Code and DUNS Number.
