The Base Utilities Division aboard Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune, North Carolina has a requirement for service of steam plant boilers. The objective of the Steam Generation water treatment program aboard the installation is to minimize corrosion and maintain clean heat transfer surfaces in pretreatment, boilers, steam supply and condensate return systems and closed heating water systems. It is the Government’s intention to issue a single firm-fixed price contract. The proposed acquisition will be set-aside 100% for Small business. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541690, Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services. The Government will solicit and award this contract using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. This synopsis is not a request for quotes or proposals. The solicitation No. M6700120Q1173 will be posted on or about fourteen (14) days after this posting and made available on the Contract Opportunities portal located at https://beta.sam.gov. It is the responsibility of the offeror to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments.
