This is a Pre-Solicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price contract for this requirement. This requirement is not Set-Aside for Small Businesses. Therefore, any responsible source may submit a quote. The FSC code is 7125 and the NAICS is 337215. Synopsis will be as follows. A separate written solicitation M62613-21-Q-0025 will be issued as a Request for Quotation on or after 27 May 2021 Japan Standard Time (JST). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83. Required Item and Descriptions are as follows; ITEM No. 0001: MESH SHELVES, 47d ITEM No. 0002: MESH SHELVES, 47d ITEM No. 0003: MESH SHELVES, 47e ITEM No. 0004: INSTALLATION, DISPOSAL, SERVICES SITE VISIT A site visit will be held regarding this solicitation at Bldg 447, MCAS Iwakuni. The Government plans to offer a site visit on June 15, 2021 from 1100 AM to 1300 PM Japan Local Time. Notification of intent to attend the site visit must be submitted via email to the Contracting Officer Repressenitive Ron Edwards at (ronald.edwards@usmc-mccs.org) no later than 1400 PM Japan Local Time on June 11, 2021. The number of participants is limited to three (3) representatives from your company. The email must include the name of all participants, their contact information to include the company’s name, address and their phone numbers. The Government does not intend and shall not pay for any travel or other costs associated with offerors attending the site visit. The Government intends to issue a single award to the responsible quoter whose quote is the most advantageous to the Government considering Technical Capability and Price with acceptable past performance. It is the quoter’s responsibility to furnish sufficient information to the Government in order to determine acceptability of the quoted product. Therefore, the quoter shall submit complete technical information pertaining to their quoted product to certify complying with the Government requirement in order to determine technical acceptability. Quoters are instructed to completely fill out vender information and return them along with your quote. Failure to provide the required information, including estimated shipping charge, and attachment may result in your quote being considered non-responsive by the Government. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition. Responsible Offerors must be active in the System for Award Management (SAM) Registration in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004 unless you qualify under an exemption. DUNS, TIN and CAGE Code must be written on submitted offer. The solicitation Amendment (Request for Quotation), when released, will be available electronically at the following web sites https://asia.neco.navy.mil/ and/or http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ under solicitation M62613-21-Q-0025. The solicitation also may be e-mailed upon a written request to the Point of Contact listed. Offers must be received no later than 6 July 2021, 0500pm specified Japan Standard Time (JST) on the solicitation closing date.
