This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Regional Contracting Office (RCO), Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan (MCASI) in support of Chaplain Office. Objective: This RFI is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of the RCO market research to determine the capability to provide all necessary religious education activities for children aboard MCAS Iwakuni. MCAS Iwakuni Chaplain Office requires the Protestant Director of Religious Education. The service is included programming, development, implementation, and involvement in appropriate protestant religious activities and education. A copy of the DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached as reference. Note: This RFI is solely for information and planning purposes only, and does not constitute a request for quotation and request for proposal, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government to acquire any products or services. No award will be made as a result of this RFI. All responses received in response to this RFI will be treated as information only. All questions must be submitted via email to Mr. Hiroshi Sakuta at sakuta.hiroshi.ja@usmc.mil and Mr. Koichi Yokogawa at koichi.yokogawa.ja@usmc.mil. no later than 2 August 2023, 10:00 AM Japan Standard Time (JST). The MCASI RCO will not reimburse all expenses associated with the development, and submission of materials in response to this RFI or use of such information. The information provided may be used by the RCO in developing and/or enhance its acquisition strategy and performance work statement. Any information that the Respondent considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned, including any proprietary information. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of this market survey. The purpose of publicizing notice for potential actions is to increase competition, to broaden industry participation in meeting Government requirements. Request for Capabilities Statements: The response must not exceed 10 pages with a Times New Roman, 12-point font with at least Top, Bottom, Left, Right - 1" margins. Each page of the package should be printable on 8 ½” x 11” paper. Submission of Information: It is requested that the capabilities packages be completed and submitted no later than 4 August 2023 by 10:00 AM Japan Standard Time (JST).
