Requirement Information: The Regional Contracting Office MCIWEST is conducting market research (sources sought) to identify vendors capable of providing leasing of equipment and maintenance services for the Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Pendleton, for Parts Washers and Spray Paint Gun Cleaners. This Sources Sought is in support of market research being conducted by the United States Marine Corps (USMC). This market research is being conducted to increase competition for this requirement by identifying potential vendor interest to include whether or not this requirement can be satisfied with a Small Business Set-Aside. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code: 532490 “Other Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing” SBA Size Standard: $32.5 Million in Annual Revenue The Government will use the information received from vendors in response to this sources sought to determine the best acquisition strategy for this requirement. The Government is interested in all potential sources including Small Businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, 8(a) businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, HUBZone Small Businesses, Women-Owned Small Businesses, etc. Potential sources shall be capable of furnishing all management, tools, supplies, chemicals, equipment leasing, labor, repair, replacement, installation, relocation, and maintenance of Parts Washers and Spray Paint Gun Cleaners, for MCB Camp Pendleton as identified in the draft Performace Work Statement. To be considered qualified, contractors must be listed on the “Registered Hazardous Waste Transporter Database,” for the State of California: https://hwts.dtsc.ca.gov/Transporters/ This is a Sources Sought and NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL/BID/QUOTE. Responses to this notice shall not constitute responses to a solicitation. Responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This sources sought is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. Respondents will not be notified of the results of any government assessments. Scope of Work: See attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) and draft Inventory Pricing Spreadsheet Request for Capabilities Statement: It is requested that interested businesses submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement that should be limited to no more than 5 pages in length. The capabilities statement must clearly detail the firm's ability to perform all aspects of this notice and must include a repsonse to the following: Company Profile to include: number of employees, office locations, Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code, and a statement regarding the socioeconomic status of the company (Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act (8a) small business concern, certified Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concern, etc.). Confirmation that your company is registered with the California Department of Transportation and is listed within the Hazardous Waste Transporter Database and can meet the certifications required in the PWS. Indicate whether your company has an active General Services Administration (GSA) contract that covers these services outlined in the attached PWS. If the answer is yes, include a copy of the GSA contract number along with your response to this RFI. Relevant Experience to include: experience in performing efforts of similar size and scope within the last three years. Please include a brief description of the project, contract number, contract value, and an agency point of contact to include current telephone number. The information received will be utilized to assist in formulating the acquisition. All responses will be treated as proprietary. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.
