M200A1 TRAILER SYNOPSIS Pursuant to the requirements of FAR 5.201, this pre-solicitation notice serves as the synopsis for the acquisition of the M200A1 2.5 Ton Single Axle Chassis Trailer. To support the Program Executive Office – Combat Support & Combat Service Support (PEO CS&CSS) and the Product Director for Light Tactical Vehicles (PD LTV) requirement for M200A1 Trailers, the U.S. Army Contracting Command-Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) plans to solicit and award a single Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment Contract (FP-EPA) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for five (5) Ordering Years and a Six Month Option Period on a total small business set aside basis. M200A1 Trailers under the anticipated IDIQ contract may consist of any of the following trailers: NSN 2330-00-331-2307: Base M200A1 Trailer, Chassis, 2.5 ton Single Axle Chassis Trailer, Part Number (PN) 8358998, Revision AH. NSN 2330-00-331-2307: Base M200A1 Trailer, Chassis, 2.5 ton Single Axle Chassis Trailer, with adjustable lunette, PN 8358998-001, Revision AH. NSN 2330-01-592-3233: AMMPS – M200A1 Trailer Chassis with adjustable lunette, PN 04-21234 for the integration of the Army generators (15, 30, and 60 kilowatt). Next Generation Shop Equipment Welding (NG SEW) – M200A1 Trailer Chassis with adjustable lunette, for the integration of the Army NG SEW. The M200A1 Trailer is used by PM-E2S2 as a component of its generator systems. The trailer mounted generator systems provide power throughout all levels of the US Army. The Government estimates that it will procure a minimum quantity of two each M200A1 Trailers, in any combination of trailers, and a contract ceiling of $55.1M during the estimated five (5) year term of the contract plus a six-month option period in accordance with clause FAR 52.217-9 “Option to Extend the Term of the Contract”. Deliveries will begin 180 days after award, and will continue at a rate of 30 per month. ACC-DTA targets a solicitation release in December 2023 and anticipates a contract award in October 2024. The solicitation will be released on SAM.gov and interested offerors are responsible to monitor SAM.gov. Please note that all trailers are produced in accordance with a USG-owned technical data package (TDP). Please refer to the solicitation for all terms and conditions and the TDP once posted.
