1. Background 1.1. U.S. Marine Corps Forces Command in support of PP&O(S), requires a compliant Marine Corps Electronic Security System (MCESS) that to be installed in bldg. MCA-9 aboard Camp Elmore, Norfolk, VA. The work will be in accordance with MCO 5530.14a to meet the standards of a MCESS and provide the building the necessary force protection and security measures required for the building. The contractor will install the necessary components (bolt-on, not permanently) in the specific locations identified by the MARFORCOM Security Manager ( as detailed in the provided quote). The contractor will ensure full system capability testing and connections to the Navy PMO office aboard NS Norfolk, VA. 2. Scope. U.S. Marine Corps Forces Command in support of PP&O(S), requires a compliant Marine Corps Electronic Security System (MCESS) that to be installed in bldg. MCA-9 aboard Camp Elmore, Norfolk, VA. 3. General Requirements. The contractor shall provide all labor and materials to properly and effectively install (bolt-on) in specific locations the IDS system and its components. All parts and labor charges will be included in cost. 4. Specific Requirements Fleet Marine Forces Atlantic MCA-9 Door Install 4.1 Room 114 Open Office • Install six (6) Bosch 360° Motion Detectors • Install two (2) Lenel 1100 Input board 4.2 Main Hallway • Install three (3) Bosch 360° Motion Detectors 4.3 Main Hallway (Above Ceiling) • Install three (3) Bosch 360° Motion Detectors 4.4 Room 105 Break Room • Install one (1) Bosch 360° Motion Detectors 4.5 Room 106 North Conference Room • Install two (2) Bosch 360° Motion Detectors 4.6 Room 108 Open Office • Install four ( 4) Bosch 360° Motion Detectors 4.7 Roof Hatch Room 102 • Install one (1) Bosch 360° Motion Detectors • Install one (1) Emergency Request to exit button 4.8 Room 109 Vestibule Door • Install one (1) Magnasphere BMS 4.9 Armory Exterior Door • Install one (1) Magnasphere BMS 5. Reports 5.1. The contactor shall provide the Security POC, Robert L. Rice at robert.1.rice@usmc.mil Security Specialist, with a form of report for any and all service/inspections that are conducted within (5) working days after the service/inspection completion. 5.2. The work report is to be legibly signed and dated by the Security POC or Security manager indicating that the work has been completed. The work report at a minimum must contain: • Date and time of service/inspection • Brief description of work performed • Equipment type, model, and serial number • Status of system upon completion of work • Signature of designated Security POC accepting work during normal working hours
