The Regional Contracting Office Marine Corps Installations West (MCIWEST), Marine Corps Base (MCB), Camp Pendleton, CA, has a requirement to provide Roman Catholic priest services to support Roman Catholic requirements of the Marine Corps Installations West-Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton (MCIWEST-MCB CAMPEN) Command Religious Program. The Period of Performance is expected to begin on or about September 1, 2022, with a one year base period, four one-year option periods, and an option to extend services up to 6 months in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. This is a pre-solicitation notice that a solicitation for this requirement is scheduled for release via Contract Opportunities (https://www.sam.gov/) on or around May 1, 2022. This is not a request for responses. This announcement is a pre-solicitation notice only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The anticipated procurement is expected to be a Firm Fixed Price purchase order. Set-aside status: The solicitation is scheduled to be issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System code for this requirement is NAICS 813110 Religious Organizations, has been determined as the best NAICS as the definition covers establishments primarily engaged in operating religious organizations, such as churches, religious temples, and monasteries, and/or establishments primarily engaged in administering an organized religion or promoting religious activities. The size standard for this procurement is $8M. Conducting Business with the Government: In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database.
