The Provost Marshal Office (PMO) aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH) has a requirement for individual body cameras for use by Police Officers and security personnel. The individual body camera systems must provide GPS location capabilities to enhance the surveillance capability for security forces personnel aboard MCBH. The body cameras must provide the capability for live documentation/transmission of events as they unfold day-to-day between police/security officers, civilians, and military personnel. Interested parties are requested to respond to this RFI with either a capability document (not more than 3 pages) that describes the product solutions the vendor can provide to meet the requirement, product literature, or an in-person demonstration of product solutions. For any in-person demonstrations the State of Hawaii and MCBH Covid-19 protection protocols must be followed. Interested parties are requested to reach out to the POCs listed within this RFI to schedule a demonstration with MCBH PMO and the Regional Contracting Office prior to the closing of this RFI. Demonstrations must occur between the issuance date of this RFI and 30 June 2021. This RFI is for market research and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the government to award a contract from responses to this announcement. Any information submitted or conducted by interested parties is strictly voluntary and no monetary compensation will be provided for response preparation or demonstrations.
