Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Hawaii, Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) uses Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) packs and respirators that are required to be inspected and functionally tested annually. MCAS ARFF has quantity 46, 3M Scott Air-Pak X3 Model 4.5 SCBA packs and regulators that will be inspected and tested annually (46 packs annually). Annual inspection and testing: SCBA packs and regulators shall be inspected and tested in accordance with (IAW) manufacturers operation and maintenance instructions. The Contractor shall be an authorized distributor or repair facility for Scott Safety and shall provide the Designated Government Representataive (DGR) with a copy of their Scott Technican and/or Authorized Service Center Certification(s). Reports: The Contractor shall provide the DGR a copy of each SCBA functional test report and verify inspection/testing of each SCBA with a functional test label Labeling: The Contractor shall label each SCBA pack in an easily accessible position when SCBA cylinder is installed with the following information: Test Organization Test date or next due date (month and year) Initials of test operator 4. Repair Parts: The Contractor shall notify the DGR of any needed repairs at which time the DGR will contact the manufacturer to determine warranty coverage.

Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Hawaii, Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) has a requirement for annual certified function tests of 46 Scott 4.5 SCBA X3, in accordance with (IAW) National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standard 1852 and MRC 75 C5DF N (36M-1). This test will consist of: Complete inspection and necessary adjustments of : 1st stage pressure reduce and 2nd stage face-piece regulator and harness The Contractor shall complete all required warranty work IAW manufacturers requirements.
