The U.S. Marine Corps is conducting market research via a Request for Information to identify sources capable of remanufacturing M1 Garand rifle stocks and upper hand guards to original specifications. This RFI is for information and planning only and does not constitute a solicitation or guarantee a contract award. Interested vendors must submit capability statements confirming they can meet the salient characteristics, including unfinished wood, durable bracing, and fitted metal sling/end caps. The requirement includes a quantity of 125 upper hand guards and supports CONUS travel and ceremonial show operations. Performance would be in the continental United States.
