This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. The applicable NAICS code is 334310, Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing with a size standard in number of employees of 500. This Request for Quotation (RFQ) and subsequent order are set-aside exclusively for only those authorized Small Businesses. Quotes from other than these vendors will not be considered. This is a RFQ for Hearing Protection headsets in support of HMX-1 Security Comapany at Marine Corps Base Quantico. The Government intends to award a single firm fixed-price purchase order as a result of this RFQ. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in accordance with FAR 52.204-7 prior to receiving any award. Information on registering in SAMs may be obtained via the internet at https://www.sam.gov.
