The contract requires a musician/organist and cantor to provide all musical support for Roman Catholic services at the Marine Memorial Chapel on Marine Corps Base Quantico. Responsibilities include planning and performing music for regular Sunday Masses, special holy days, and funerals or memorials for base personnel, as well as conducting choir rehearsals. The contractor must provide all instruments except the chapel's existing organ and piano. For weddings and some funeral services for non-base personnel, the contractor has the first right of refusal to provide services, but fees for these are paid directly by the families and are not covered under the contract. The contractor must also coordinate music plans with the priest and provide recommendations for instrument maintenance.
