THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE, THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT/REQUEST-FOR ESTIMATE in regards to market capabilities for interested businesses (Small and/or Large) who are interested in the opportunity and willing to provide an estimate (based on the bellow Salient Characteristics). The Government intends to Award a Firm Fixed Price FFP order using FAR Part 12 and Part 13 procedures. Supply needed: Window shutters replacement. • The shutters have to be made of Spanish Cedar wood • Old shutters need to be removed and disposed, new shutters need to be manufactured and installed. • The new shutters must match the old shutters • Rough estimate of the sizes for the shutters are: 6 of them located on first floor are 22”W X 9’5”H; 8 of them located on second floor are 22”W X 6’6”H. • Must provide 1 coat of primer and two coats of finish paint • Use existing hardware and hinges, if existing hardware and hinges are not functioning, vendor must replace nonfunctioning hardware and hinges with like kind • The shutters need to be replaced on the outside of the first and second floor of the building, therefore vendor will need to have equipment to reach the second floor. • There are 14 shutters that need to be replaced in total, 6 on first floor, 8 on second floor. • Clean-up will be needed. About site visits: Vendors are encouraged to conduct a site visit before quoting, however, it is not required. If choose to conduct a site visit before quoting, the government will not be responsible for travel and parking. If vendor choose not to conduct a site visit before quoting, if awarded, the vendor is required to conduct a site visit to measure the exact sizes of the shutters. Location of the site: Marine Barracks Washington 8th and I 8th and I Streets SE Washington, DC 20390 Pre-solicitation site visit date and time: 12/12/2023 Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. Vendors who decide to attend this site visit must email jacie.liu@usmc.mil before 12:00 noon 12/8/2023. All interested and/or responsible businesses sources may submit a capability statement, with their initial estimate. THE ESTIMATE IS FOR MARKET RESEARCH AND BUDGETARY PURPOSES.
