Methods of Entry needs 16 T- barriers made of concrete reinforced by rebar. Walls need to be designed to be under 10,000 pounds. Walls must have footer dimensions of 56 inches wide, 7 feet long, and 7 inches thick. Wall Dimensions are to be 7 feet wide, 6 feet and 6 inches long, and 12 inches thick. Walls will be constructed with two #5 rebar grids with 8 inches spacing vertically and horizontally. Concrete will finished (floated smooth) with a minimum rating of 5000 psi. These walls are used to simulate scenarios for breaching and environments that Marines may encounter during future missions, such as urban setting and fortified structures or hostile areas while breaching. These walls once they have been breached provide simulation and provide feedback guidance and assessment to the Marine trainees. If the Marines lose this training, it will diminish the period of instruction and affect the overall value this course provides its students from across the DOD.
