REQUEST FOR INFORMATION SOURCES SOUGHT Electric Vehicle Charging Station The Marine Corps Installations, National Capital Region - Regional Contracting Office (MCINCR-RCO), Marine Corps Base, Quantico, VA is seeking information on available sources that can fullfill a US Government requirement. REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION: US Government is seeking sources that can provide: - Portable, self-sustaining, charging station for electric vehicle(s) - Must require no installation (does not require securing to ground or connection to local grid; no construction or electrical work) and be transportable by a 15k or lower forklift. - Capable of charging multiple electric vehicles at the same time day or night - Solar power gathered and retained within the unit to charge electric vehicles up to 7 kW - Must be capable of handling any brand of charger (Type 1 or Type 2 socket for slow/fast charging and CHAdeMO or CCS for DC rapid charging) - Capable of withstanding winds up to 100mph. - Flood proof (can perform after submerging) - ADA compliant - Must be able to fit within a parking space no wider than 11 feet and no longer than 22 feet Current Contract: Contract Number: N/A Contract Type: N/A Contractor: N/A Business Size: N/A Method of Acquisition: N/A North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) The NAICS Code anticipated for this requirement will be 335999 – All other miscellaneous Electrical Equipment and Component manufacturing. This industry includes power converters (i.e., AC to DC and DC to AC), power supplies, surge suppressors, and similar equipment for industrial-type and consumer-type equipment.
