The National Museum of the Marine Corps (NMMC) has a requirement to fabricate and install exhibits for the Final Phase projects in the following two (2) areas: Gallery 13 Forward Deployed and Gallery 14 Iraq and Afghanistan. The requirements include: fabrication and installation of all exhibitory platforms and scenic surfaces; interpretive signage and graphic panels, graphic murals, stand-off panels, associated support components, engineering and installation of overhead systems to display graphics and macro artifacts; themed environments, replicated rockwork and vegetation, painted murals, themed tableaus; themed entrances; installation of life-cast figures (provided as Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) from the Government); artifact handling and mounting; overall site coordination of all contractors associated with this project, safety, site cleanliness; display case lighting and exhibit casework. The metrics to measure performance for listed outcomes of the requirement will be inspection by the Contracting Officer’s Representative in accordance with the established guideline set in the Performance Requirement Summary established in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP). Marine Corps Installations National Capital Region-Regional Contracting Office (MCINCR-RCO), Quantico, VA, has a requirement to procure a Exhibit Fabrication Services for the National Museum of the Marine Corps (NMMC). It is the Government’s intention to issue a firm-fixed price contract. The proposed acquisition is 100% set aside to small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 711210. The Government will solicit and award this contract using FAR 15- Contracting by Negotiations. The Government intends to award to using Best Value Tradeoff procedures. The award will be issued on an all or none basis. The solicitation, (M00264-21-R-0004) will be posted on or about 14 December 2020 and made available on the web site https:// beta.sam.gov. It is the responsibility of the offeror to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments.
