SEE ATTACHED RFQ AMENDMENT FOR DETAILS. Marine Corps Installations, National Capital Region-Regional Contracting Office located in Quantico Virginia, intends to solicit and award a commercial award for a COTS item as briefly detailed below. The contract will be Firm Fixed Price for a base period with four (4) option periods. The Government seeks a Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) automated social networking capability to provide the ability to conduct effective and efficient discovery, reporting, and removal of imposter social media accounts. The COTS capability will be used to protect the best interests of the USMC. Using the latest available COTS automation technology will reduce both human and network resource expenditure, time and work factor efforts allowing for a more comprehensive social media review. Additionally, the COTS will be used in the integrating of the discovery of malware and trends with hashtags as an additional aspect of discovery to identify trending topics in the USMC. This information will be used for quickly determining threat agents as an entry point for malware and impersonators trying to gain followership through discussion topics. The Government expects to obtain a minimum of one (1) subscription(s)/license(s) with a maximum of up to ten (10). See additional details in the attached RFQ document(s).
