AMENDMENT 1 - PROVIDE QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS The object of this contract is to catalog and properly rehouse artifacts. The NMMC operates its curatorial offices from Building 2014 on MCB Quantico, VA and the Museum Support Facility in an off-site leased space in Dumfries, VA. The contractor will work out of the Museum Support Facility and Building 2014. The Museum requires that batches of 3,000 artifacts be cataloged per year in order to meet this requirement. The approximate composition breakdown of the remaining backlogged artifacts is: 60% fine art and poster collection (about 25% of which is framed) 25% uniform items and equipment (small) 10% aviation-related items such as plaques, radios and other miscellaneous cultural items 5% flags and larger textile pieces

Marine Corps Installations National Capital Region-Regional Contracting Office (MCINCR-RCO), Quantico, VA, has a requirement to procure Museum Artifact Cataloging Services. It is the Government’s intention to issue a firm-fixed price Purchase Order. The proposed acquisition is a 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 712110, Museums. The Government will solicit and award this contract using simplified acquisition procedures, in accordance with FAR subpart 13.5. The Government intends to award to the lowest price technically acceptable. The award will be issued on an all or none basis. The solicitation, (M00264-20-Q-0003) will be posted on or about 24 January 2020 and made available on the BETA SAM web site at https://beta.sam.gov. It is the responsibility of the quoter to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered with the BETA SAM website accessed through https://beta.sam.gov. Contractor must also ensure annual representations and certifications are current or complete them at the SAM website as well. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a quote must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE code).
