THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT for commercial LAUNDRY CHEMICALS prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the INFORMATION only regarding SOURCES that would be INTERESTED IN THIS RFQ (WHEN IT IS PUBLISHED). Quotes will be requested when the RFQ is published in the near future. Vendors that are not manufacturers of the products will not be considered. Solicitation number M0026322QXXXX will be issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) using the commercial procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. The Source Selection procedures are in accordance with FAR Part 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-05 effective 3/7/2022 and DFARS Publication 20220318. The Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Recruit Depot- Parris Island, SC (MCRDPI) intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price Contract for Laundry Chemicals in support of the Depot Laundry Facility aboard MCRD Parris Island, SC. All applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses will be contained in the SF 1449 when published. Offerors responding to this announcement shall submit their interest in this RFQ by emailing: christine.hoopingarner@usmc.mil . The basis for award is “technically acceptable along with other factors”. The Government award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of quotes meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for the technical acceptability factor as will be outlined in Section M of the SF1449, as well as Past Performance and Price. The successful offeror must have an acceptable past performance rating. Offers shall be ranked in order of lowest price to highest price. The lowest-prices offer shall be evaluated first. If the lowest-price offered is technically acceptable, no other offers will be evaluated. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT only. No Quotes are being asked for nor will be accepted until the RFQ is published. All interested vendors will be notified of the RFQ when it is published.
