SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS FOR UPCOMING RFQ: MAP DIGITIZATION of HISTORICAL MAPS This is a “SOURCES SOUGHT” to find interested contractors that would be inclined to submit a quote once a Request for Quote is published (RFQ). The United States Marine Corps Museum at MCRD Parris Island, South Carolina has a requirement for Map Digitization. Digitization must use LARGE FLATBED SCANNER. No feed scanners are acceptable. Quality: Scanned at a minimum of 300 dpi to a TIF file. Scanner must be able to accommodate large maps in size up to 36” X 44”. Quantity: 321 maps of various sizes. The contractor will be responsible for pickup and delivery of Maps. Maps must be safeguarded while in possession of the contractor and shall be returned in its original condition. Period of Performance: 30 days after contract award.
