The Marines Corps Regional Contracting Office, Parris Island, SC is issuing this Sources Sought – Request for Information (RFI) in support of market research efforts to identify WOSB or EDWOSB concerns who are certified by an SBA approved third party and interested in providing a quote for the following: Recruiting Station Louisville (RS LOU) and Recruiting Station Nashville (RS NAS) have aging cabling infrastructure of CAT3, CAT5, CAT6 and Coax. The primary objectives of this scope are to install a complete CAT6 infrastructure, extend or re-run existing circuits as necessary, remove old infrastructure and insure system uptime between by using a phased approach. The new location must be wired to meet the requirements of Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) with a Unified Communications (UC) infrastructure. This change will require installation of Category 6 (CAT6) cable, the installation of a conduit to the building demarcation point, establishment of pathways throughout the suite, and associated installation hardware. Current, valid BICSI membership and certification are required. Key personnel on site must have either INST1, INSTC, TECH or higher level active BISCI certification.
