This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using the simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 to procure pesticides from ADAPCO in support of the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for the above products to the firm of ADAPCO, 550 Aero Ln. Sanford FL 32771. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. DURATION: This requirement is for six (6) drums of AMVAC Chemical Corporation's DIBROM Concentrate and Trumpet EC insecticides, ADAPCO is the exclusive distributor of AMVAC Products delivered to US Military Installations around the United States. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
