This is a sale of approximately 44,000 pounds of expended, deformed small arms brass shell casings (.50 caliber or smaller) on a firm-fixed-price basis. Award will be made to the responsible offeror providing the highest price per pound that is technically acceptable, with a single award intended. The material is offered FOB origin at MCRD Parris Island, South Carolina, and the buyer must provide an open-top or open-dump trailer that QRP personnel will load using forklift-mounted hoppers. Removal must commence no later than 15 calendar days after the initial 50% deposit payment is received. Site inspections are encouraged and can be scheduled on weekdays, with all proposals submitted via email using the required form.
