THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential sources capable of performing the required service and is for planning purposes only. Any information submitted by respondents to this Source Sought Notice is voluntary. The Air Force does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. Respondents should not construe this notice as a commitment by the Air Force for any purpose, and should refrain from providing proprietary information in the response. 1). INTRODUCTION: This is the initial step in the planning process for Lifeguarding Staff, Kirtland AFB. The 377 MSG/PKA at Kirtland Air Force Base seeks sources with capability to fulfill 5-20 lifeguarding positions at Kirtland Air Force Base from Memorial Day weekend through mid-August, 2019. Under this effort, the contractor will provide staff to perform lifeguard duties (personnel responsible for safeguarding the lives of persons at the assigned work area) with personnel possessing Lifeguard Certification. • Key Responsibilities o Responsible for lifeguarding guest in attendance at the assigned aquatics/pool facility. o Ensures that safety rules are followed and attend aquatics and/or safety training as directed. o Attend aquatics and/or safety training as directed. Keeps accurate records and adequate supplies. o Rescues swimmers and administers first aid as required. o Calls for medical assistance when needed o Maintains cleanliness and safety equipment. Alerts supervisor to problems or discrepancies with pool equipment. 377 MSG/PKA may conduct an acquisition for this effort. Any further acquisition efforts are expected to result in a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. 2). INSTRUCTIONS: All businesses capable of fulfilling the requirement are invited to respond electronically to express interest and capability. Responses shall include company name, address, DUNS number, CAGE code, point of contact with email address and telephone number, and indicate business size (small business, small disadvantaged business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, economically disadvantaged woman-owned small business, woman-owned small business, or HUBZone) using NAICS 812990, size standard $7,500,000.00. Statement of Capabilities should demonstrate capability to provide lifeguards. For offerors outside Albuquerque metro area, please provide a broad overview of employee recruitment/management techniques to fulfill this requirement.
