Disclaimer: This Sources Sought Notice is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. Responses to this notice are not an offer and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government does not intend to award a contract nor otherwise pay for information received in response to this notice. All information received in response to this notice that is marked Proprietary or competition sensitive will be handled accordingly. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice will not be returned. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any contractor’s input resulting from this notice. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this notice. Responders are also reminded that a Source Approval Request (SAR) is required for any NSN that the contractor desires to be considered as an additional manufacturer. This is not a request for SAR submission; it is simply a notification. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The Government is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support 611 sole source NSNs to the Lockheed Martin Corporation. The Government intends to award these items to the current Price Pending Contract Number SPE4A5-20-D-P002, a subsumable contract of Captains of Industry (COI) contract number SPE4AX-16-D-9473. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received by the response date of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of market research in determining whether do conduct a competitive procurement. Respondents must include the following information: -Company Name -Address -CAGE Code -Point of Contact (POC) -POC Phone -POC Email -Web page URL, if available -Is your company considered a small business under the any of the NAICS codes listed on the attachment? If so, what type of small business? -Manufacturer or Distributor -U.S. or Foreign Owned Entity -Description of the capabilities of your facilities and the nature of the goods your company provides. Include a description of your staff composition and management structure. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 5:00 p.m. on March 29, 2021.
