The Department of the Navy (DON) is considering leasing up to two (2) commercial childcare spaces (Facility or Facilities) each with minimum 11,913 Square Feet (SF) to maximum 38,681 Square Feet (SF) of indoor space and 6,000 Square Feet (SF) to 16,065 Square Feet (SF) of outdoor space located within the greater San Diego County area, under the process and terms outlined in this Request for Proposal (RFP). The potential facility lease(s) will be utilized to reduce childcare space shortages associated with Navy personnel assigned to installations in Metro San Diego. The location of the facilities will be critical to meet childcare needs, due to personnel housing, duty stations, and community/traffic conditions of the greater San Diego County area.
