705th Access Control – Sources Sought THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). This notice is not to be construed as a commitment, implied or otherwise by the Government, to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract.The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential sources capable of performing the effort described herein pursuant to FAR part 10, Market Research and FAR part 19, Small Business Programs. This is for planning purposes only. Any information submitted by respondents to this Source Sought Notice is strictly voluntary. The Air Force does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. Any costs incurred as a result of this announcement shall be borne by the responder and will not be charged to the Government for reimbursement. Respondents should not construe this notice as a commitment by the Air Force for any purpose, and should refrain from providing proprietary information in the response. 1. INTRODUCTION: This is the initial step in the planning process for Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB) Access Control System Maintainance and Repair for the 705th Combat Training Squadron (705 CTS). The 377 MSG/PKA at KAFB seeks sources with the following capability and interest to provide the following: The 705 CTS requires a vendor to maintain three (3) access control systems located in building 942, Kirtland AFB, NM. The vendor shall be a Hirsch authorized vendor. The vendor shall support software and hardware updates, maintenance, repairs, and/or replacements, as well as semi-annual preventive maintenance checks IAW darft Performance Work Statement (PWS) Attachment 1. The attached draft PWS provides details regarding the subject requirement. 377 MSG/PKA anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition for this effort. The effort is expected to result in a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. NAICS code is anticipated to be 561621 - Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths), size standard $22,000,000.00. 2. INSTRUCTIONS: All interested businesses capable demonstrating the ability to meet the draft PWS are invited to respond electronically with Statement of Capabilities (SOCs). Do NOT merely reiterate the objectives or reformulate the requirements specified in the attached draft PWS. Responses shall include company name, address, DUNS number, CAGE code, point of contact with email address and telephone number, and indicate business size (small business, small disadvantaged business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, economically disadvantaged woman-owned small business, woman-owned small business, or HUBZone). NAICS code is anticipated to be 561621 - Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths), size standard $22,000,000.00. The Air Force reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside for any subsequent acquisition based upon responses to this notice. Small business respondents should provide an SOC to assist the Air Force in making a set-aside decision. SOCs are limited to 5 pages, using Times Roman 12 Font. Do NOT include any marketing material in the capabilities statement.
