The Government is seeking qualified manufacturers, including both large and small businesses, to produce the Joint General Mechanics Tool Kit (JGMTK) for military vehicle and equipment maintenance. A Technical Data Package (TDP) is available but requires vendors to have or obtain a DD Form 2345 certification, a process which itself can take 6 to 10 weeks, to gain access. The kit contains source-controlled parts, and vendors must provide proof of ability to obtain these from approved sources or undergo a process to become an approved source themselves.
