The Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground is exploring options for a contractor to manufacture, package, and deliver JBTDS Detector/Collector assemblies, Data Stations, and consumables, which are portable biological threat detection systems. The anticipated deliverables include 3,247 detector assemblies, 425 data stations, and 49,015 consumables to be delivered over three years. The contractor would also need to provide comprehensive logistics, sustainment support for two years after fielding, and various technical data packages. The government is seeking detailed capability statements, rough order of magnitude costs and timelines, and recommendations for contract types from potential respondents.
