Telephone responses will be accepted (210-671-1735).** The Government is only conducting market research and attaining information to identify potential contractors that are able to provide all items listed below. The Government is requesting industry to provide feedback to the questions below to determine how to best proceed with procuring the required items. All information provided is STRICTLY VOLUNTARY. The Government anticipates a need for the rental/lease of a 185' boom/man lift. The purpose of this RFI is to identify potential sources that are capable of performing delivery to JBSA-Randolph in San Antonio, Texas within one to three calendar days of award (NLT 30 September). The rental/lease must include the following: 1. Equipment delivery and pickup to the worksite (555 E St E, JBSA-Randolph, TX 78150). 2. A field technical overview of proper and safe use for the Government's qualified operators at the time of delivery. 3. The approximate salient characterisitics: a. Platform Height: 185 ft 7 in. / 56.57 m b. Platform Capacity - Restricted: 1000 lb / 453.59 kg c. Platform Capacity - Unrestricted: 500 lb / 226.80 kg d. Horizontal Outreach: 80 ft / 24.38 m e. Swing: 360 Degrees f. Swing Type: Continuous g. Turning Radius - Outside (axles extended): 21 ft 8 in. / 6.6 m h. Turning Radius - Outside (axles retracted): 31 ft 3 in. / 9.53 m
