A sources sought notification is utilized as a market research tool to determine the availability of sources. This is not a Request for Proposal, it does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only. The intent of this notice is to identify all Small Businesses, certified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) capable of providing comprehensive Pool Management Services to include the seasonal opening and closing of the pool; certification and scheduling of Lifeguards, Water Safety Instructors, Pool Managers and Assistant Manager, and daily/weekly maintenance and cleaning of the Aquatic Center and grounds. The performance of this contract will be at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), Washington D.C. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561790. This procurement is for five (5) years (base year + four (4) option years). It is requested that interested small businesses with the capabilities of providing these services, shall submit to the Contracting Office a brief capabilities statement package (no more than three (3) pages, single-spaced, 12-point font). The capabilities statement shall demonstrate the ability to perform the requested services. It must include sufficient details to allow the Government to determine the qualifications to perform the defined work. PAGES IN EXCESS OF THE THREE (3) PAGE LIMIT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Your capabilities package shall include, at minimum the following: Name and address of firm Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code number Applicable, Small Business destination/status Relevant experience to include experience in performing efforts of similar value, scope, and size within the last five (5) years The Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. No funds are currently available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. Should a solicitation be issued for the draft requirement described herein, it will be issued pursuant to the acquisition strategy selected by the Contracting Officer. All information received in response to this notice will be treated as business confidential information and exempted from disclosure under the freedom of information act. Nonetheless, submitters should properly mark their responses if the information is proprietary.
