The purpose/function of the unit is to receive transmission signals from the Mass Notification System and disseminate internal broadcastin messaging to building occupants in the event of an emergency to protect life by instructing people f the necessary and appropriate action. This J&A is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(c)(1), where only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
