Sources Sought Notice: Item Name: Terminal Box NSN: 5940-01-493-9102 Part Number: 12365133 End Item: M88 FOV Description: The Remote Terminal Box is a part of the Enhanced Diagnostics System (EDS). The EDS provides a tool to permit troubleshooting hydraulic malfunctions while reducing the need to install gauges, thus reducing the possibility of introducing contaminants into the system. The Terminal Box is connected to the Maintenance Support Device (MSD) via a 1553 bus cable. The MSD runs the EDS software program, allowing a maintainer to use the EDS to read hydraulic pressures in real time while conducting hydraulic troubleshooting. The Terminal Box is an electronic enclosure that contains a printed circuit board, a power module, power toggle switch, a power indicator lamp, and connector jacks that connect the cables from the sensor. The Terminal Box also stores the sensor calibration offset data.
