Product Manager Soldier Clothing and Individual Equipment is seeking laboratories to validate Individual Water Treatment Devices (IWTDs) for clearing microbiological contaminants and Toxic Industrial Chemicals/Toxic Industrial Materials under NSF P248.01 and/or P248.02 protocols. The effort supports Army goals for potable water from indigenous fresh water sources, reducing soldier load and extending autonomous squad operations. This is a Request for Information only, intended to identify qualified labs and inform a future request for proposal, not a request for proposal itself. Interested labs should present their technical approach, relevant experience, ISO 17025:2017 certification, protocol evaluation capability, ability to draft product-specific test plans, and commitment to provide raw, test, and internal standard data. Responses should also include an estimated validation testing timeline assuming an award in Nov/Dec 2026, plus company background, business size, CAGE code, NAICS code, and any applicable GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract number.
