PROJECT SUMMARY This project consists of constructing a new potable water 1.5 MG elevated storage tank with a pump house and chlorine booster station on the base of the tank; and the removal and replacement of 60,800 LF of ductile iron main lines base wide. In addition, non-PVC service lines will be replaced with PVC lines new water meters will be installed in some buildings; and fire hydrants and fire lines will be removed/replaced or added as stated on plans. Demolition work includes demolishing existing potable water 0.5 MG elevated storage tank, existing 0.3 MG ground storage tank and booster pump station. CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS: The Contractor awarded will need to provide information to have business set up for payment. Also will need to fill out forms for Reps & Certs, W-9, & Authorization Agreement For Vendor Automatic Electronic Funds Transfer. If you are large business you will need to be set up on 45 days net terms and small business will be 30 days Net terms. You must also provide three References of similar like work within the past two years, and Technical Approach in your bid package. Pre-Bid to look at the site is scheduled on 2 September 2021 2 p.m. Central time zone. Award will be contingent upon approval of funds, reference checks, D&B rating, and low cost acceptable. Note: The first round of questions using the Question/Comment Form deadline 26 Aug 21 10 am CST, and the first round of answers should be posted on www.beta.sam.gov on or before 27 Aug 21 CST. The second round of questions using the Questions/Comment Form dealine 22 Sept 21 2 pm CST, and the second round of answers should be posted on www.beta.sam.gov on or before 22 Sep 21.
