The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: Construct new compressed gas cylinder storage facility with cast-in-place concrete footing, slab, and metal roof (Base Bid). Bid Alternate #1 is for with 8”x16” CMU walls, Bid Alternate #2 is for steel frame and R-Panel walls. Contractor may submit additional bid alternate types of structure material i.e., refabricated metal building or precast concrete. Demolish selected portions of existing pavement. Construct 6-foot tall chain-link fence with gate. Furnish and install new LED floodlights on existing oxygen storage room on F826. Construct ADA compliant sidewalk north of the new facility. Restore site to a condition equal to or better than the existing condition. CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS: The Contractor awarded will need to provide information to have business set up for payment. Also will need to fill out forms for Reps & Certs, W-9, & Authorization Agreement For Vendor Automatic Electronic Funds Transfer. If you are large business you will need to be set up on 45 days net terms and small business will be 30 days Net terms. You must also provide three References of similar like work within the past two years, and Technical Approach in your bid package. Pre-Bid to look at the site is scheduled on 3 Jan 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Central time zone. Award will be contingent upon approval of funds, reference checks, D&B rating, and low cost acceptable.
