The work includes: Remove all old peeling and chipped floor paint from existing concrete floor at F125, Vance AFB, and apply new floor covering as noted in specifications. Concrete floor preparation for new material shall be in accordance with manufacturer’s requirements to establish all warranties for both installation and maintenance. The area of work is approximately 4,401 sq. Feet (contractor to verify). Contractor to include in their bid any alterations or changes in existing doors due to issues with door clearances as a result of flooring material applied. Any new doors shall be in kind replacement and will require submittal approval prior to purchase. As shown in drawings (contractor to verify) recreate all taped OSHA required floor marking utilizing the same material as the rest of the floor in the correctly identified colors appropriate for the marking type (i.e. Yellow for pedestrian path, Red for fire equipment). CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS: The Contractor awarded will need to provide information to have business set up for payment. Also will need to fill out forms for Reps & Certs. If you are large business you will need to be set up on 45 days net terms and small business will be 30 days Net terms. Pre-Bid to look at the site is scheduled on March 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Central time zone.
