Mauritania - Aouinatt Health Clinic PURPOSE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT: This is a pre-solicitation announcement of a proposed contract pursuant to FAR 5.204. The US Government intends to announce a contract solicitation for design and construction services as described within this announcement within the next 90 days. This announcement is also meant to help identify potential contractors interested in and capable of performing this design and construction project. This is NOT a solicitation announcement and is not to be construed as a commitment by the US Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. OFFERORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MONITORING THIS WEBSITE FOR CHANGES TO THIS NOTICE AND THE FORMAL SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROJECT: The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Europe District plans to solicit proposals for a design-build project for renovation of a health clinic facility in Aouinatt Ikoumbani, Mauritania. The existing facility was executed by NAVFAC in 2016 and was completed to approximately 85% of the construction work. SITE VISIT: The US Government will a hold site visit on 12 JULY 2023 @ 1100. Offerors are strongly encouraged to attend: Offerors must pre-register their attendees no later than 7 JULY 2023. To Pre-Register, complete the site visit attendee information sheet (see attachment) submit via email to phillip.n.tran@usace.army.mil and thomas.m.bookout@usace.army.mil. IMPORTANT: Any individuals planning to attend must register in advance with their full name, organization name, job title, and passport information or they will not be permitted access to the sites—please use the attendee information sheet attached to the RFP. Also, space may be limited and as a result the number of attendees per company may be limited. Interested parties may meet to travel as a convoy together to the site at the US Embassy Nouackchott.
