This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This competition is open to small businesses (small business set-aside competition). The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 511130 – Book Publishers - size standard of 1,000 employees. This solicitation incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect in Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-04 dated 30 January 2022 and Defense Publication Notice 20220128 dated 28 January 2022. Requirement Description The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) has a requirement for sixty five (65) Hardcover copies of the Pharmacotherapy Principles and Practice, 5th Edition textbooks (ISBN 9781260019445), and sixty three (63) Hardcover copies of the Human Physiology: An Integrated Approach, 8th Edition textbooks (Not International Edition, ISBN 9780134605197. The purpose of Amendment P00001 is to update the Pharmacotherapy Principles and Practice requirement from the 5th Edition to the 6th Edition, and update the quantity required from sixty-five (65) to sixty-seven (67) hardcover textbooks.
